…on the first day of the week at sunrise, the stone had been rolled away, the tomb was empty, hope had risen for the people.
You may carry a deep pain with you, a pain of loss, of suffering and disappointment,
but, Jesus knows suffering too, and has descended into your own hell, in order to raise you up into his kingdom.
You may come with a broken relationship and a broken heart,
but Jesus calls you friend and will never leave or forsake you.
You may come with your circumstances with bad luck and choices
but Jesus is faithful, when we are not and makes us new creations.
You may be told along the way, maybe when you were a child or maybe later, that you are not enough to be loved and whatever you have simply does not stack up
but Jesus is not ashamed to be your Lord, and nothing done or undone can separate you from his love.
